Waterbury- Mr. Jose Antonio "Sazules" Villafane, Jr., 33, of Columbia Blvd. died Thursday, May 15 at the Waterbury Hospital.
Jose was born October 24, 1972 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico son of Nydia Santiago of Waterbury and the late Jose Antonio Villafane, Sr. Raised in Puerto Rico Jose moved to Waterbury with his family in 1990. He was known locally for his skill as a mechanic.
In addition to his mother he is survived by three sisters, Nydia Villafane of Waterbury, Gregoria Villafane of Naugatuck and Carmen Andino of Waterbury; his step-father, Angel Andino of Waterbury; his aunt and uncle, Elsa and Durango Jaime of Waterbury and his cousin, Aida Brandon and her husband Tom of VA.
