Waterbury- Josefina Molina, 62, died Monday morning, April 25, at the Smilow Cancer Center of the Yale New Haven Hospital.
Josefina was born April 27, 1948 in Catano, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Emilio Molina and Rita Ramos. She lived in Waterbury for most of her life and had worked at various manufacturing companies before retiring. She enjoyed spending her time with her family, most especially, her grandchildren.
She is survived by one son, Peter K. Tirado and his wife Cheryl of Avon; three daughters, Jacqueline Ciampi of Oxford, Rita M. Batista of Lancaster, PA and Wendy J. Batista of Naugatuck; three brothers, Emilio Molina of Waterbury, Rafael Molina of Lancaster, PA and Carlos Boscana of Manchester; one sister, Rita Arturi of FL; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, William Batista, Jr.
Arrangements: Family and friends may call at the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. Waterbury on Thursday evening, April 28, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. A prayer service will be held at 8:00 P.M. Burial will be private.
