Obituary
Waterbury – Joseph P. Bergin, 56, died Thursday, November 27, in Denver Colorado.
Joseph was born December 23, 1957 in Waterbury, son of the late Mary Louise (Phelan) Bergin and the late David P. Bergin. Raised in Waterbury, he was a graduate of Bunker Hill Grammar School and Kennedy High School class of 1977, where he was a member of the State Champion Swimming and Diving Team. He enjoyed hiking and horticulture.
He is survived by three brothers, David J. Bergin, Thomas P. Bergin and John E. Bergin all of Waterbury; one sister, Suzanne E. DeBiase and her husband Thomas of Waterbury and two nephews.
Arrangements: A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, December 11, at 10:00 A.M. at Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial of cremains will follow in the Calvary Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
