Obituary
Waterbury- Mr. Joseph R. "Joe MaMa" Cipriano, III, 52, died peacefully on Wednesday, June 6, surrounded by his family at St. Mary's Hospital.
He was born in Waterbury on Easter Sunday, April 17, 1960, son of Bonnie (Griffin) Cipriano of Florida and the late Joseph R. Cipriano, Jr. He was a graduate of Crosby High School and had assisted in the operation of the family business, Cipriano Painting. Joe will be remembered for his love and passion for the New York Yankees, Harley Davidson Motorcycles, casinos, cards, horses and just spending quality time with his family and friends.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his sister Joanne, brother Paul and his wife Mena Cipriano; he was the most loving uncle to Krista and Chris Hayes, Julie and David Irizarry and Paulie Cipriano, Jr.; he leaves his four great nephews that were his heart and soul, Colby, Connor, Carter and Benjamin; he will be missed dearly by his Uncle and Aunt, Francis and Marie Cipriano and many cousins and close loyal friends.
The family would like to take this time to thank the Abbott Terrace Health Care Center and all the staff members and family members that reached out to Joe with kindness, caregiving, support and especially most of all for just being his friend.
Arrangements: Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 8, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. Waterbury. Funeral services and burial will be private.
