Obituary
Waterbury – Mr. Joseph P. Gelinas, 75, of Waterbury, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Vibra Hospital of Western Massachusetts in Springfield, MA after an extended illness.
Joseph was born on Sept. 6, 1939 in Waterbury, son of the late Philip and Alice Gelinas. Joseph enjoyed camping, archery, fishing, bowling, cooking and at a younger age reached the rank of black belt in Karate. He was a long time member of the NRA and served honorably and proudly in the United States Air Force.
Joseph is survived by his daughter, Karen Rosado, his son, Robert J, Gelinas and his wife Heather; six grandchildren, Mathew, Christopher, Nicole, Amanda, Alyssa, and Taylor; and five great-grandchildren, Savannah, Chesney, Alaina, Christopher, and Julian.
All services were held privately according to Joseph's wishes.
