Waterbury- Mr. Juan Nazario, 74, of Raymond St. died Friday, August 24 at his home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Ramona (Santos) Nazario.
Mr. Nazario was born October 9, 1932 in Jayuya, Puerto Rico son of the late Avelino and Alejandrina (Mendez) Nazario. He had been employed as an electrician with LaFluar Electrical in Ponce, Puerto Rico for many years and worked as a farmer while living in New Jersey. He came to Connecticut in 1974 and was a communicant of Sacred Heart Sagrado Corazon Church. He loved to watch wrestling and boxing and enjoyed cooking.
In addition to his wife he is survived by four sons, Oscar Nazario, Nelson Nazario, Luis Nazario and Juan Nazario all of Waterbury; three daughters, Luz Neida Nazario, Carmen Torres and Maria Smith all of Waterbury; three brothers, Manuel Nazario of NJ, Heriberto Nazario and Angel Nazario both of PR; three sisters, Carmen Nazario of Waterbury, Paula Nazario and Marcelina Nazario both of PR; ten grandchildren; one great grandson and several nephews and nieces.
Arrangements: Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 28 at 8:15 A.M. from the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. to Sacred Heart Sagrado Corazon Church for mass at 9:00 A.M. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday evening from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
