Waterbury- Mr. Juan M. Ruiz, 68, died Saturday, April 16, at his home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Norma (Caraballo) Ruiz.

Mr. Ruiz was born March 14, 1943 in Utuado, Puerto Rico son of the late Juan D. and Adelila (Cortes) Ruiz. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed watching wrestling, liked to laugh, loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and always tried to make everyone around him have a good time.

In addition to his wife he is survived by one son, Juan D. Ruiz of Waterbury; one daughter, Gretchen Ruiz of Bristol; two sisters, Iris Rojas of Patterson, NJ and Carmen Mejias of Bridgeport; two grandchildren, Tianna D. Carter and Justice T. Carter and several nephews and nieces.

Arrangements: A mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, April 20, at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Sagrado Corazon Church. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday evening, April, 19, from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East main St. Waterbury.
