Port St. Lucie, FL - Julia M. Azukas, 67, formerly of Waterbury, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019. She was the wife of the late Joseph P. Azukas. Julia was born in Waterbury on July 24, 1951 to Eugene and June (Judd) Dionne. She enjoyed playing bingo, especially with her sister, Annette, with whom she shared a home. Julia is survived by her son, Joseph P. Azukas, Jr., and his wife, Crystal, of Middletown; her siblings, Annette Traver; Phillip Dionne; Donald Dionne; Yvonne Henry; Anita Napoli; Barbara Dionne; Gene Dionne; and Rose Fortier; her grandchildren, Jean Azukas and Sara Azukas; her great granddaughter, Lilian Azukas; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Including her husband and parents, Julia was also predeceased by her sister, Patricia Diesel. Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 21 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Bergin Funeral Home, 290 East Main Street, Waterbury. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. from the funeral home to New Pine Grove Cemetery, 850 Meriden Road, for a graveside committal at 11:00 a.m.
