Morris – Mr. Jumni (Babush) Rakiposki passed away on October 5th at the age of 73. He was predeceased by his son, David Kashi Rakiposki. He was survived by his wife, Linda Rakiposki, whom he was happily married to for over 50 years. Additionally, by his sons, Johnny Rakiposki and his wife Kimia Malek Rakiposki; Jimmy Rakiposki and his wife Jocelyn Tapia Rakiposki; his late son David's widow, Laureta Rakiposki; his 6 grandchildren; Selvie, Armenda, Lily, James, Mia and Leo and his great grandchild, Aliah. Jumni was one of a kind, there was no one quite like him. He knew how to bring people together and how to make people laugh, it was hard not to love him. Those surrounding him were easily drawn in by his firecracker personality, kindness and generosity. While people around the globe will mourn his death, it's his family that will feel the most significant impact. He loved his family, and was admired for his strength and the example he set as the backbone of the family. Jumni inspired those around him with his hard work, he could never just sit still. He was an entrepreneur who owned and operated many restaurants throughout his career. His passion for cooking and his flavorful food will truly be missed by many. Our hearts are at peace knowing he is no longer in pain, fighting the difficult battle against cancer. He will be joining his son David, and his brothers in heaven, where they will continue to watch over our family together. There are no words to encapsulate what a tremendous loss this is, or how much we will all miss our baba. The reminiscence of Jumni and his cherishable memories will be revered dearly and live on forever.
