Waterbury - Kamla passed away peacefully after her courageous battle with several diseases on December 8 at Yale New Haven Hospital surrounded by her family.

Kamla had worked at J&J Precision and Mark Eyelet prior to her illness. She was loved by everyone she came in contact with.

She is reunited with her father, Anroop Persaud, her mother, Mangree Algu, sister, Chandramatee Anroop and brother Ricford Anroop. She leaves behind her partner in life Gary Setterberg, brothers, Horold Anroop, Devati Persaud, Narindate Anroop; sisters, Danma Ramasar, Shomo Bhiaki, Lacmee Hardwar and Hameadrawatee Kissoon and several nieces and nephews who will carry her memory on forever.

Calling hours are Wednesday, December 13, from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. Waterbury. Funeral services will start on Thursday morning at 8:00 A.M. at the funeral home, followed by cremation at 11:00 A.M. at the Pine Grove Crematory.
