Obituary
Waterbury, CT - Mrs. Katherine M. (O'Connor) Henebry, 90, died Monday, September 8 at St. Mary's Hospital. She was the widow of Judge James F. Henebry.
Mrs. Henebry was born February 27, 1918 in New York, NY daughter of the late Edward and Winifred (Neary) O'Connor. She was a graduate of St. Joseph's College in West Hartford and had taught at Mt. St. Joseph Academy, Norfolk Center School, and in later years at Notre Dame Academy. She was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church and a former member of the Ladies Guild of Blessed Sacrament, was a former member of St. Mary's Auxiliary, had volunteered in the St. Mary's Medical Library for over twenty years, and was a member of the St. Joseph College Alumnae Association.
She is survived by three daughters, Anne Esposito of Waterbury, Elizabeth Matthews of Watertown and Florida, and Denise Riley of Waterbury; three sons, James K. Henebry of Hampton Falls, NH, John T. Henebry of Waterbury and Brian T. Henebry of Middlebury. The oldest of twelve children, she is survived by two brothers, Thomas O'Connor of Norwalk and Kevin O'Connor of Norfolk; two sisters, Margaret Zecher of Westfield, MA and Mary Dowd of Longmeadow, MA; thirteen grandchildren; one great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements: A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 12 at Blessed Sacrament Church, 182 Robbins Street, at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Old St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday, September 11 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Bergin Funeral Home, 290 East Main St. Waterbury, CT.
