Leanora Edman, 84, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. Leanora was born in Sunning Hill, St. Thomas, Jamaica on September 3, 1940. She worked for many years as a CNA in a nursing home. She leaves behind her beloved family which includes her children, Sharon Davids; Devon Nixon; Paul Nixon; Wayne Nixon; and Coretta Nixon; her siblings; Madge Buckle; Marcia Aitcheson; Grace Aitcheson; Phillip Lindsey; Cleveland Lindsey; Mary Lindsey; and Alvira Marshall; 16 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 28 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. followed by a funeral home service from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Bergin Funeral Home, 290 East Main Street, Waterbury. Burial will be held in Jamaica.
