Obituary
Waterbury- Mrs. Lucy (Donofrio) Gasparri, 90, died Thursday morning, April 19, at St. Mary's Hospital. She was the loving wife of Joseph W. Gasparri.
Mrs. Gasparri was born March 18, 1922 in Waterbury daughter of the late Domenic and Tomasine Donofrio. She was a lifelong resident of Waterbury, attended local schools and was a communicant of Saints Peter and Paul Church.
In addition to her husband she is survived by one sister, Julia Amabile of Oakville; her sister-in-law, Eleanor Donofrio of Waterbury; family friend and nurse, Rita Jamele and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Ann Chiarella and brothers, Rocco and Sonny Donofrio.
Arrangements: Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 21, at 11:00 A.M. at the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. Waterbury. Entombment will follow in Queen of Peace Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Saturday morning from 9:30 A.M. until time of service.
