Waterbury- Mr. Luis Salvador Cruz, 70, died Monday, April 11, at St. Mary's Hospital with his wife Stefanina (Musco) Cruz and family members by his side.

Mr. Cruz was born August 3, 1940 in Penuelas, Puerto Rico son of the late Marcelo and Rosa M. (Quinones) Cruz. He had retired from Anamet Metal Hose where he had worked as a machine operator for 15 years and had served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church.

In addition to his wife he is survived by one son, Danny Cruz of Waterbury; one daughter Lynda Cruz of Waterbury; one brother, Americo Cruz of Waterbury and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements: Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 14, at 9:15 A.M. from the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. Waterbury and proceed to St. Patrick's Church for mass of Christian burial at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday, April 13, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
