Waterbury – Luis F. Gonzalez, Jr., 36, died on Sunday, December 25, as the result of an automobile accident.
Luis was born December 1, 1980 in Bronx, New York, son of Luis F. Gonzalez, Sr. of Waterbury and Tania Marie (Noney) Gonzalez of Hollywood, FL. Raised in Waterbury, Luis attended local schools and Kennedy High School. He had a passion for cooking and loved sports, especially baseball and basketball. He will be remembered most for his love of family and spending time with them.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his son, Luis F. Gonzalez, III of Waterbury; his infant daughter, Alaijah Gonzalez of Waterbury; two brothers, Benny Silva of Pompano Beach, FL and Marcus L. Gonzalez of Hollywood, FL; one sister, Jody Jeanette Silva of Waterbury and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Arrangements: Calling hours will be held this evening from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. Waterbury.
