Waterbury – Lumturije Agastra, widow of Faik Agastra passed away peacefully at her home Saturday, Deecember14, 2024 surrounded by the love and care of her family. Lumturije was born April 27, 1927, in Pilur, Devoll, Albania, daughter of the late Zenel and Resmije (Dervishi) Bylykbashi. Lumturije was a strong and hardworking woman, she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was loved by all and will be deeply missed. Her spirit will remain, always loved and never forgotten. She is survived by her son, Bardhyl Agastra and his wife Alma of Bonita Springs, FL; her daughter, Zeliha Sinani and her husband Resul on Waterbury; three brothers, Gezim Bylykbashi of Canada, Pertef Bylykbashi of FL, Mehdi Bylykbashi of Waterbury; one sister, Yllke Cipi of FL; her six grandchildren, Erisa Sinani, Evis Sinani, Samir Qyteza, Blerim Qyteza, Bora Agastra and Edmond Agastra; her six great-grandchildren, Ayaan Sinani, Aiden Qyteza, Sam Qyteza, Angelusha Qyteza, Glaer Sinani and Emily Sinani and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours are Tuesday, December 17, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. Waterbury. Funeral services are Wednesday morning at 9:30 A.M., leaving the funeral home at 10:00 A.M. for New Pine Grove Cemetery.
