Maria Jimenez Diaz, 79, passed away on April 9, 2025. Maria was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on July 24, 1945, daughter of the late Jose Luis Jimenez Mejias and Maria Reyes Diaz Hernandez. She leaves behind her beloved children, grandchildren, and many treasured family and friends. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 16 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Bergin Funeral Home, 290 East Main Street, Waterbury. A funeral home service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Friends and family may gather from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery.
