Maria Carmen Torres, 50, passed away on Thursday, July 23 in Elkhart, IN. She was the wife of Edwin Torres.
Maria was born in Santiago, Dominican Republic to Ramon and Yleana Sanchez. She loved to dance, cook, and crochet.
Besides her husband and parents, Maria is survived by her children, Edwin Torres Jr.; and Rubi Torres; and her siblings, Jackie Gonzalez, of Miami, FL; Maria Frias; Ramon Sanchez, and Maria Acevedo, of CT.
Calling hours will be held Saturday, August 1 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Bergin Funeral Home, 290 East Main Street, Waterbury.
