Waterbury – Maria J. Vidal, 58, passed away on Saturday, July 1, at St. Mary's Hospital. Maria was born December 2, 1964 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, daughter of Julia Agosto Marrero of Waterbury and the late Juan Bautista Vidal. In addition to her mother she is survived by six children, Johanny Vidal, Jaymie Bermudez, Omar Bermudez, Troy Vidal, Jose Fret and Wilma Vidal; her siblings, Juan Vidal Agosto, Eddie Vidal Agosto, Blanca Vidal Agosto, Luis Vidal Agosto and Janette Torres and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Friday morning, July 7, from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. A prayer service will start at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery.
