Obituary
Waterbury – Mrs. Marie P. (Turonis) Reilly, 75, died at her home on Saturday, March 19. She was the widow of James A. Reilly.
Marie was born February 15, 1941 in Scranton, PA, daughter of the late John and Helen (Hanis) Turonis. Raised in Waterbury, she was a graduate of Washington Grammar School and Wilby High School, class of 1958. She had been employed for many years as a cashier at Everybody's Market on South Main Street. She will be remembered for her love of shopping, taking care of her home and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her brothers, John M. Turonis and his wife Carol of Watertown and Albert R. Turonis and his wife Joanne of Guilford; her sisters, Helen DiDominzio and her husband Vincent of Waterbury and Barbara A. Marciano and her husband Anthony of Prospect; her aunts, Helen Woychik of Ambler, PA and Irene Smith of Dickson City, PA her uncle, Nicholas Hanis of Moscow, PA and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Michael A. Turonis.
Arrangements: Friends may call at the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. Waterbury on Wednesday morning, March 23, from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00 A.M. at St. Francis Xavier Church. Burial will be in the All Saints Cemetery.
