Waterbury- Marilyn P (Healey) Mathieu, 70, died on Wednesday, March 18, at St. Mary's Hospital.
Marilyn was born October 30, 1944 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Daniel F. and Mary T. (Moore) Healey. A lifelong resident of Waterbury she attended local schools and was a graduate of Waterbury Catholic High School class of 1962. She had worked for many years as a nurse's aide at Cedar Lane Convalescent Home and then worked as a home health aide at DNL Registry and most recently for Extra Hands.
She is survived by her son, Daniel L. Mathieu and his wife Renee of Wolcott; two daughters, Elizabeth G. Krawitz of Waterbury and Shannon M. Santoro and her husband Michael of Waterbury; four grandchildren, Roseann, Connor, Ethan and Mikayla; three step-grandchildren, Tamika, Nicholas and Melissa; two step great-grandchildren, Matthew and Aubrey and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Regina Bisaillon and her husband Richard.
Arrangements: A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, March 23, at 11:00 A.M. at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. Friends may call at the
Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. on Monday morning from 9:00 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. Burial and committal will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
