Obituary
Waterbury- Mrs. Marjorie (Seery) Kiernan, 90, died Tuesday, January 11, at Rose Garden Health and Rehabilitation in Waterbury. She was the widow of Raymond W. Kiernan.
Mrs. Kiernan was born May 15, 1920 in Waterbury daughter of the late Frank J. and Elizabeth (Monahan) Seery. She was a lifelong resident of Waterbury and had worked as a secretary at Scovill Manufacturing for many years and went on to become a Licensed Practical Nurse who worked private duty for many years before her retirement.
She is survived by one daughter, Raellyn Colasanto of Waterbury; two grandchildren, Robert and Nicole and 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements: A mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, January 17, at 10:00 A.M. at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. There are no calling hours. The Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. Waterbury has care of arrangements.
