Obituary
Mary Alice Campbell, 69, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2015, at Waterbury Hospital. Mary was born on May 3, 1945, in Waynesboro, N.C., the daughter of Mary and Roger Huntley.
She attended Crosby High School and prior to her retirement, worked as a nurse's aide at Crescent Manor Convalescent, also in private duty home-care.
Mary was a faithful and devoted member of the Waterbury West Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses for 50 years, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mary is survived by her ex-husband, Bruce Campbell and son, Kenyatta Campbell, of Waterbury; her sons Cy Anthony Campbell, of New London; and Rudy Keith Campbell, of Hawaii; her brothers George Huntley and Henry Huntley, both of Waterbury, and Peter Huntley, of Charlotte, N.C.; her sisters Virginia Huntley, of Waterbury, and Eliza Huntley, of Durham, N.C.. She was predeceased by her brother James. Mary also leaves on granddaughter, three grandsons, two great-granddaughters, and one great-grandson.
She will be dearly missed by her best friend and closest companion, Lois Hampton Robinson. Lois will miss all the laughs, and good times spent together, especially in Jehovah's service.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 1:00 p.m., at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2670 North Main Street, Waterbury, CT. Family and friends may visit with the family and give their condolences one hour before the service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. A luncheon will be held after the service at the Continental Room, 33 Osborn Rd., Naugatuck, CT 06770.
