Wolcott- Mrs. Mary (Nolan) Hackett, 81, of Woodcrest Ave., died Tuesday morning, June 9, at Meridian Manor in Waterbury. She was the widow of Joseph W. Hackett.
Mrs. Hackett was born July 9, 1927 in Hamden. She was a graduate of Albertus Magnus College in New Haven and the Connecticut State Teachers College. She had been an elementary school teacher in Cheshire for many years and had taught CCD at St. Pius X Church in Wolcott for over twenty years.
She is survived by one son, James P. Hackett of Wolcott and several; nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her daughter, Ellen Hackett.
Arrangements: A mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, June 11 at 10:00 A.M. at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception Church in Waterbury. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are in the care of the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. Waterbury.
