Middlebury- Miss Mary E. Kinnie, 88, died Tuesday, August 25, at Apple Rehabilitation in Watertown.
Miss Kinnie was born May 21, 1921 in Waterbury daughter of the late John and Margaret (McCarthy) Kinnie, Sr. She was a graduate of St. Mary's School of Nursing and had been employed at St. Mary's Hospital for 47 years as a private duty registered nurse. She was a member of the Hartford Archdiocese Catholic Nurses Association; St. Mary's Nursing Alumni Association and was a communicant of Our Lady Loreto Church in Waterbury.
She is survived by two nieces; four nephews; two great-nieces and two great-nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph and John Kinnie.
Arrangements: Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 29, at 10:30 A.M. from the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. to Our Lady of Loreto Church for mass of Christian burial at 11:00 A.M. Burial in Old St. Joseph Cemetery will be private. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 9:30 A.M. until time to leave for church.
