Maureen A. Greenwood

WATERBURY- Maureen A. Greenwood, 86, daughter of the late Ralph Titus Greenwood and the late Irene (McEnany) Greenwood, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 18th; Maureen was born in Waterbury, Connecticut on December 8, 1938 and was a lifelong resident.  She was predeceased by her loving brother, Ralph John Greenwood.  She was a devoted Catholic and a volunteer for the Red Cross. She was employed by The Travelers Insurance Company for over 30 years

Maureen is survived by her loving and devoted nieces Jill Swoverland and Kaitlyn Swoverland and nephews Donald Swoverland and Nickolas Swoverland. She was predeceased by her brother Ralph Greenwood and longtime companion Ed Sands.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday January 22nd at 10 AM at The Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, 75 West Main Street in Waterbury. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the Church.
