Waterbury – Maureen M. Mahoney, 78, of Waterbury, passed away on June 25, 2021 at Yale New Haven Hospital. Maureen was born on June 30, 1942 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Daniel and Mary Mahoney. Maureen worked as an inspector for the Waterbury Button Company for many years before her retirement and loved doing crossword puzzles. Maureen is survived by one brother, Donald Mahoney or Waterbury; and her best friend Ferida Shira. She was predeceased by two brothers, Edward and Anthony Mahoney. The family would also like to thank the Lagasse family for the love shown toward Maureen over the years. Funeral services will be private.
