Southbury – Michael C. Castigliego, 55, of Southbury, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2020 at Hartford Hospital. Michael was born on Feb 12, 1965 in Waterbury, son of Anthony Castigliego Sr. and the late Patricia (Buckley) Castigliego. Michael graduated from Sacred Heart University and later owned a landscaping and home improvement business for a number of years. He loved camping, boating, jet skiing, and enjoying the great outdoors. He will be remembered for his big heart, his willingness to help anyone in need, and his love of family. Besides his father, Anthony, he leaves behind his brother, Anthony Castigliego, Jr.; his love Michelle Montague and her children, Andrew, Dee, and Sonny; his nephew Joey and wife Kait; his best friend Mike Pitino; aunts, uncles and cousins in Rhode Island. He was predeceased by two sisters, Leanne Marino and Laura-Jean Castigliego. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 49 South St, Litchfield. Burial will follow Mass in Lake Elise Cemetery in Middlebury.
