Waterbury – Michael A. Martorelli, 64, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 2, at the Waterbury Hospital. Michael was born October 18, 1957 in New Haven, son of the late Anthony and Louise (DeCola) Martorelli. Raised in New Haven he graduated from St. Francis Catholic School. He will be remembered as an avid football fan and a supporter of the New Orleans Saints, but above all else, he loved playing with his grandchildren and was just a great father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his daughter, Lauren A. Martorelli of Waterbury; his brother Martin Martorelli of North Haven; his three grandchildren, Sophia, Lorenzo and Makai and one nephew. All funeral services will be private.
