Obituary
Plantsville- Mr. Moises Larriu, 50, died Sunday evening from injuries sustained after being struck by a motor vehicle in Cheshire.
Moises was born May 29, 1963 in Westfield, MA, son of Maria D. Garcia Rosado of Penuelas, Puerto Rico and the late Alejandro Larriu. He had been employed at Bozzuto's Inc. in Cheshire. He will be remembered as a hard worker, instilled in him by his father and family and as a wonderful and caring father and family man.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his son, Moises Larriu, Jr and his step-children, Raymond, Kristina and Sabrina Rodriguez; his brothers, Jose Ramon, Carmelo, Franco, Eduardo and Dickson Larriu; his sisters, Gabriella Rios, Maria E. Gonzalez, Rosalina Lozano, Luz M. Larriu, Brunilda Ortiz, Carmen A. DeCarish, Lucila Colon and Maria D. Quiles and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Pastor and Jose Antonio Larriu.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday morning, October 26, at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Sagrado Corazon Church. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. Waterbury on Friday evening from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
