Waterbury- Mrs. Noemi Batista, 47, died on Monday, September 17, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Alberto Ortiz, Sr.
Noemi was born on December 11, 1964 in Jayuya, Puerto Rico daughter of Severino Batista Torres of Puerto Rico and the late Monserrate Aviles Delgado.
In addition to her husband and father she is survived by one daughter, Ivonne Malie Ortiz of Waterbury; two sons, Alberto Ortiz, Jr and Al Anthony Ortiz both of Waterbury; 13 brothers and sisters and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Arrangements: Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, September 20, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Margaret's Church. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. from 9:00 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. on Thursday morning.
