Waterbury – Norma I. Sanchez, 68, passed away on March 5, 2025, surrounded by her family. Norma was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on March 17, 1956, daughter of the late Maria (Reyes) Sanchez. Norma is survived by her children, Angelina Hernandez; Diana Bisbal; Anaisa Colon Rosado, and spouse, Camille Rosado; Iliana Hernandez; Luis Hernandez and spouse, Danielle; Elizabeth Hernandez; Ismael Hernandez; and Jesenia Morales; siblings, Louis Sanchez, and spouse, Christina; Hector Sanchez; and Pastor Iraida Kendy Sanchez; her 26 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family; and her caregivers, Josie Delgado and Tammy Groves. Including her parents, she was predeceased by her grandchildren, Zachary and Angel; 1 brother; and 2 sisters. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 12 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Bergin Funeral Home, 290 East Main Street, Waterbury. A funeral home service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Family asks that everyone wear vibrant colors in celebration of Norma's beautiful soul (no black please).
