IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Pamela E.
Purcell
January 26, 1965 – September 19, 2023
Waterbury – Pamela E. Purcell, 58, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 19, at her home. Pamela was born in Derby on January 26, 1965, daughter of the late William P. and Janet M. (McCullough) Purcell. Pamela leaves to cherish her memory of her three daughters, Alyssa, Morgan, and Emma Purcell-Wright, all from Waterbury; her two sisters, Marilu Hallenbeck and Linda O'Brien and their husbands Jon Hallenbeck and Dan O'Brien both of Watertown; her two grandchildren, Jayce Colon and Serenity Love Wright and many nieces and nephews. Pam had a zest for life, she loved family vacations, cooking, dinning out having good food and a well-made cosmo. She loved to pamper herself with getting her hair and nails done and going for massages. She loved sitting in the sun and going to the beach. She and Alyssa loved attending concerts and her favorite concert was when she received a rose from Snoop Dogg. She loved going to the park, fairs, and having special quality time with Emma and Jayce. She and Morgan loved trying new restaurants. Although, she did not have much time to spend with Serenity, she helped bring her into the world. In her spare time, she would play solitaire, watch lifetime movies, and enjoy spending time with Tyrone and her cherished friends and family. She especially loved attending the parties on the hill hosted by her DiJon cousins. Pam had the purest heart she was a genuine soul; she was funny and loved to laugh. Pam always became the center of attention when entering any room because of her quick wit, her sassiness and sense of humor. What we loved the most about Pam was her fierce love of her children and grandchildren. They were the center of her world. Pam left a mark on anyone she knew, and she will be forever missed but never forgotten. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, September 26, at the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. Waterbury from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 P.M. A graveside service will be on Wednesday at Mt. St. Peter's Cemetery 219 New Haven Ave. in Derby.
