Old Saybrook- Ms Patricia Harvey, 96, formerly of New York, NY, died Wednesday, June 25 at Saybrook Health Care in Old Saybrook. She was the widow of Jefferson Snauffer.

Ms Harvey was born May 24, 1912 in Waterbury daughter of the late Leaman S. and Elsie (Bauer) Harvey. Mrs. Harvey was a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). She was the recipient of the highest honor give to a member of the society –a fellowship and the first women to ever receive this award. After a very successful national career, she retired to New Haven, CT.

She is survived by  her sister-in-law, Margaret Harvey of New Haven; and three nieces, Patricia C. Harvey of Guilford, Margaret Roberts of Eagle, Colorado and Allison Ericson of Londonderry, NH and several great nephews and nieces.
