Obituary
Waterbury – Mr. Ramon Segarra, 84, of Waterbury passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at his home. He was the husband of the late Dorothea Hopkins.
Ramon was born on June 27, 1931 in Guayanilla, PR, son of the late Israel Segarra and Jacinta Cales. He worked for the Sanitation Department in the City of Waterbury for many years. Ramon loved fishing and was an avid New York Yankees fan.
He is survived by his son, David Champagne and his wife Paula Caviasca; his granddaughter Christina; and his great-grandson, Davier.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, Nov. 9, at 10:00 A.M. at New Pine Grove Cemetery, 850 Meriden Rd., Waterbury. All attending are asked to meet at the cemetery office at 9:45 A.M.
