Waterbury – Mrs. Raquel (Pabey) Crespo, 76, of Waterbury, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at St. Mary's Hospital after an extended illness. She was the loving wife of Mr. Hector Crespo.

Raquel was born on November 16, 1941 in Ponce, Puerto Rico to the late Francisco and Amelia (Soto) Pabey. Raquel was very active in the Tabernaculo de Reunión Church in Waterbury and was an avid gardener.

Besides her husband, Raquel is survived by two sons, Hector L. Crespo and Richard A. Crespo; six brothers and sisters, Luis Enrique Pabey, Francisco Pabey, Jaime Pabey, Alejandro Lopez, Teresa Pabey, and America Pabey; and two grandchildren, Alexander M. Crespo and Lee Ann Crespo.

Family and friends may call on Friday, January 12, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Bergin Funeral Home, 290 East Main St., Waterbury. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 13 at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery.
