Obituary
Waterbury- Raul Almodovar, 45, died Friday, May 10, at St. Mary's Hospital. He was the husband of Sonia (Cordona) Almodovar.
Raul was born January 25, 1968 in Ponce, Puerto Rico, son of the late Silvio Almodovar and Edith Mercado.
In addition to his wife he is survived by three sons, Jonathan Almodovar, Joshua Almodovar and Jorgie Benavides all of Waterbury; one daughter, Melanie Almodovar of Waterbury; 5 Brothers, Joaquin and Efrain both of Waterbury, Pedro, Israel and Emilio all of PR; 7 sisters, Daisy Acevedo and Ines Almodovar of PR, Maria Laclaustra, Esther Almodovar and Brunilda Almodovar all of Waterbury, Elsa Rivera and Delia Almodovar both of WI and many nieces and nephews including Lynette Diaz.
Arrangements: Funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning, May 14, at 10:00 A.M. at the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. Waterbury. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
