Obituary
Waterbury- Mr. Raymond T. Sobireski, 77, died on Saturday, October 5, at the Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of Yolanda (Lafreniere) Sobireski.
Mr. Sobireski was born November 13, 1935 in Waterbury, son of the late Theodore and Anna (Kavalski) Sobierajski. He was raised in Naugatuck, attended local schools and was a graduate of Naugatuck High School. He had served his country honorably in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.
In addition to his wife he is survived by three sons, Francis T. Sobireski and his wife Giselle of Waterbury, Dan R. Sobireski of Waterbury and Dave F. Sobireski and his wife Michelle of Wolcott; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service with full military honors will be held on Wednesday, October 9, at 12:00 P.M. at the St. James Cemetery in Naugatuck. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday morning from 9:30 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. at the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St.
