Obituary
Waterbury- Mr. Richard Gladu, 85, formerly of Oakville, died peacefully after a brief illness on Wednesday, January 22, at the Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of the late Helen (Nirka) Gladu.
Richard was born July 3, 1928 in New Bedford, MA, son of the late Hormidas and Yvonne (Verrier) Gladu. Richard and Helen traveled the country while he was employed in the meat packing industry. Upon his retirement they settled in Oakville.
He is survived by many nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Arrangements: Family and friends may call at the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. on Sunday, January 26, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Burial will be private.
