Obituary

Thomaston- Mr. Richard W. "Rusty" Veilleux, 62, died Wednesday, April 8, at his home. He was the husband of the late Terry M. (White) Veilleux.

Mr. Veilleux was born July 6, 1946 in Indianapolis, IN, son of the late Lewis and Isabelle (Lemire) Veilleux. He has been employed by Gem Manufacturing in Waterbury as a toolmaker for 36 years. He was a member of the Thomaston Fish and Game Club and enjoyed shooting skeet. He had worked in photography and was an avid dog lover and lifelong NY Yankee fan.

He is survived by two daughters, Christine L. Hogan and her husband Thomas of Terryville and Jennifer A. Nolan and her husband Mark of Middletown; one brother, Arthur Vayer of VA; four grandchildren, Nicholas Hogan, Dylan Hogan, Alexander Nolan and Grace Nolan and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by two sisters, Lucille Varnauskas and Mary Anderson.

Arrangements: Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 11 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. Waterbury. Funeral services and burial will be private. To submit an online condolence please visit www.berginfuneralhome.com
