Obituary
Waterbury- Mrs. Rita T. (Gannon) Flaherty died Friday morning at Paradigm of Waterbury. She was the widow of Francis Flaherty.
Mrs. Flaherty was born in Waterbury daughter of the late James and Mae (Lalor) Gannon. She will be remembered for taking care of the children in her family, being an excellent baker and an avid reader. She was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her daughter, Marita Putteti of Waterbury; her brother, John Gannon of Waterbury; two grandchildren, Francine A. Putteti and Anthony M. Putteti both of Waterbury and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements: Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 15 at 10:30 A.M. from the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. to Blessed Sacrament Church for a mass of Christian burial at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Watertown. Friends may call at the funeral on Tuesday morning from 9:30 A.M. until time to leave for mass.
