Obituary
Newington- Robert F. Bell, 65, died on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at his home.
Robert was born March 7, 1947 in Waterbury, son of the late Thomas and Margaret (Deeley) Bell. He had served honorably in the United States Marine Corps and was a Vietnam veteran. He operated a landscape and lawn care business, enjoyed fishing and was a member of the VFW Post 2138 in Rocky Hill.
He is survived by his daughter, Krissy Shamel and two granddaughters, Jordan and Sophia Shamel, all of FL; three sisters, Patricia Barre of Woodbury, Joan Bates of FL and Kathleen Tierney of Waterbury. He was predeceased by his son, Robert F. Bell Daddona and three brothers, Thomas, Ronald and William Bell.
Arrangements: Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 20, at 11:00 A.M. at the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. Waterbury. Burial with full military honors will be in the Connecticut State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 9:00 A.M. until time of service.
