Waterbury – Mr. Robert Francis Galante, 91, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, at St. Mary's Hospital. Robert was born September 22, 1928 in Waterbury, son of the late Frank and Blanche (Burbe) Galante. A lifelong resident of Waterbury, he attended local schools and was a graduate of Leavenworth High School and had served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was retired from the Scovill Manufacturing Company where he had worked as a press operator for many years. He leaves many cousins and friends. A private graveside service will be held in the Calvary Cemetery.
