Middlebury- Mr. Robert P. Sullivan, 58, died Tuesday, August 3, at his home.
Mr. Sullivan was born June 28, 1952 in Waterbury son of the late Joseph F. and Mary Louise (Parsons) Sullivan. He was raised in Middlebury and was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Waterbury. He worked in landscaping for many years and enjoyed all sports, especially playing softball. He was a lifelong New York Yankees, Cleveland Browns, Boston Celtics and UConn fan, but above all else he enjoyed spending time with his nieces, nephews and friends.
He is survived by two brothers, Jeff Sullivan and his wife Maryann of Middlebury and John R. Sullivan and his wife Kathy of Southbury; one sister, Nancy E. Sullivan of Waterbury and his nieces and nephews, Libby Mattice, John, Sarah, Connor, Shauna, Joe; great niece Hailey and great nephew Colby.
Arrangements: Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 7, at 9:00 A.M. from the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main Street Waterbury to St. John of the Cross Church, Middlebury for mass of Christian burial at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Old St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday evening, August 6, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
