Waterbury- Mrs. Rose (Crupo) Caggiano, 96, died Monday morning, February 28, at Wolcott View Manor. She was the widow of Nicholas Caggiano, Sr.

Mrs. Caggiano was born February 16, 1915 in Waterbury daughter of the late Domenic and Josephine (Ricci) Caggiano. She was a lifelong resident of Waterbury.

Mrs. Caggiano is survived by her sister, Florence Ermini Hawkes of Vernon; her daughter-in-law and care giver, Dorothy Caggiano of Wolcott; three grandchildren, Nicholas J. Caggiano, Jr, Michelle Lasky and Michael Caggiano; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and her special niece Marcia Houle. She was predeceased by her son, Nicholas J. Caggiano, Sr and two brothers, Joseph and Peter Crupo.

Arrangements: A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, March 5, at 10:30 A.M. at Saints Peter and Paul Church, Southmayd Rd. Waterbury. There are no calling hours. Burial in Calvary Cemetery will be private. The Bergin Funeral Home of Waterbury is assisting the family with arrangements.
