Rose M. Costello, 81, of Waterbury, formerly resided with grandson, Arthur Hotchkiss and family, of St. Albans, Vermont, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, at Waterbury Hospital, on Sunday, October 2, 2016.
Rose was born in Waterbury, on July 13, 1935, to the late William and Mary (DiPetro) Costello.
Rose is survived by her five children, Katherine Hotchkiss, and her husband, Al LeMay, of Whitehall, NY; Karen Gelati, and her husband, Skip, of Thomaston; Rosemarie Warner, and her husband, Steven, of Wolcott; Russell R. Overton, Jr., and his wife, Dawn, of Oakville; and Marylou LaBrecque, and her husband, Eric, of Plymouth; her grandchildren, Paul Hotchkiss, and his wife, Crystal; Tammy Bacon, and her husband, Donald; Arthur Hotchkiss, and his wife, Nicole; Robert Overton; Kristina Nield, and her husband, Dylan; Jennifer Walcott; Lauren Gelati; Thomas Culver, Jr.; Jessica Culver; Amanda Pergola, and her husband, David; Nicholas Overton; Stephanie Stillitano; Erika Juliano, and her husband, Joed Olivera III; and Kevin LaBrecque; her sister-in-law, Valerie Costello, of CA; several great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and extended family. She was predeceased by her brother, John Costello; her sister, Barbara DiNapoli; and her granddaughter, Amber Chernesky.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 7, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Bergin Funeral Home, 290 East Main Street, Waterbury. A funeral home service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be held privately.
