Ruth A. Miller, 67, of Atwood Ave., died suddenly at St. Mary's Hospital on February 24, 2009. She was the widower to Rufus L. Miller Sr.
Mrs. Miller was born in Waterbury, August 7, 1941, daughter of the late Albert J. and Bella M. (O'Brien) Rosenbeck.
Ruth worked as a Nurses Aid at St. Mary's Hospital for years and switched to another position at central supply, within the hospital. Ruth retired and continued to work part time. She spent her life and time with her family, friends and cats. Loved going out to eat and relaxed when knitting. She liked life to be simple and would frequent the fairs and Pow-wows while collecting frogs. Ruth was also a former member of the Bailey's Health Club.
She is survived by a daughter, Roxann Miller of Waterbury, two brothers, David Rosenbeck of Washington, Richard Rosenbeck of Southbury, two sisters, Bella M. Berdan of Prospect, Jeanne Brown of Waterbury and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was pre-deceased by a son, Rufus L. Miller Jr. two daughters, Jeanne Marie and Rhonda Lynn and a brother John A. Rosenbeck. Arrangements: A funeral home service will be held Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at the Bergin Funeral Home, 290 E. Main StreetWaterbury, CT06702. Calling hours will be held from 9:00 A.M. till the time of service. Burial will be private.
