Waterbury – Mrs. Ruth Ann Yovina, 82, of Waterbury, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2013. She was the widow of Mr. Paul R. Yovina.
Ruth was born on March 9, 1931 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Patrick Lyons and Mildred (Flynn) Sellner. She was a lifetime resident of Waterbury and attended local schools. Ruth was a communicant of St. Michaels Church.
Ruth is survived by her two sons; Douglas Yovina and Craig Yovina, both of Waterbury; two daughters, Pamela A. Yovina of Florida, and Patricia E. Marino of Wolcott; one brother, William Lyons of Florida; one sister, Elizabeth Rose of Newington; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Family and friends may call on Friday evening, August 23 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Bergin Funeral Home, 290 E. Main St., Waterbury. A memorial service will take place at 7:00 pm. Burial is private.
