Oakville – Ruthann "Ruth" S. Lane, 62, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2019. She was the wife of John F. Lane for 38 years. Ruth was born in Stamford on September 28, 1957 to Horace Daniel Studwell and the late Joan (Gordon) Studwell. She worked as an accountant for Anaconda Metal Hose in Waterbury, then Anamet until its closing. She had currently been an accountant for Eversource in Berlin. Ruth was also active in CPTV taking televised contributions. Ruth leaves behind her husband, John Lane; her daughter, Alice Lane; her father, Horace Studwell; her siblings, Theodore Studwell, and his wife, Barbaro, of CO; and Lois Wolf, and her husband, Carl, of MD; and numerous nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 27 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Bergin Funeral Home, 290 East Main Street, Waterbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ruth's name to the organization of your choice.
