Obituary
Wolcott – Mr. Sadik Avxhiu, 82, of Wolcott, passed away on January 2, 2016 at Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of Nevrije Avxhiu. Mr. Avxhiu was born on February 1, 1933 in Korca, Albania. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed.
He is survived by his son Albert and his wife Ilda, his son Shkelqim and his wife Anila, his daughter Fillareta and her husband Gezim, and seven grandchildren: Olger and his wife Arjeta, Eriola and her husband Matthew, Engjell, Bjanka, Ardit, Enerik, and Erika.
The wake will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Bergin Funeral Home, 290 East Main St., Waterbury. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 4, 2016 from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. at the Bergin Funeral Home, 290 East Main St., Waterbury. Burial will be held on Monday at 1:30 P.M. at New Pine Grove Cemetery, 850 Meriden Rd., Waterbury.
